The Champions for Charity 50/50 lottery supports kids care by helping fund a new, pediatric echocardiogram — a special ultrasound machine that lets doctors see a child’s heart, without any needles, radiation, or pain.
Designed for children, the machine uses smaller probes, kid-friendly settings, and faster imaging to help doctors diagnose heart conditions, monitor treatment, and reassure families.

We’re Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN, pronounced “wren”) Foundation, the charitable partner of Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN). WRHN Foundation represents the coming together of the two fundraising partners of the former Grand River and St. Mary's General hospitals.
